Build a sports-net enclosure around the ball and the site

Plan cricket and other sports netting around the ball, playing area, boundary height, supporting structure and nearby people or property.

Choose sports-net mesh for the ball and expected impacts

A cricket practice lane, football boundary and multi-use play area should not be specified as the same net. Explain the ball type, intensity of practice, direction of impact and intended users. Mesh openings and the complete support arrangement should suit that use.

Map side and roof coverage against neighbouring property

Provide site dimensions and photographs showing nearby roads, windows, walkways and buildings. Discuss side and overhead coverage separately. For a terrace, the roof structure, parapet, access and exposure need appropriate assessment before poles or supports are added.

Price poles, foundations and entry points separately from net material

  • Ask which poles, cables, anchors, foundations and edge ropes are included. A quote for net material alone is not a complete enclosure price.
  • Confirm how doors, player access and maintenance access will work, and whether any uncovered direction permits balls to leave the area.
  • Consider wind loading and structural suitability with a qualified person where the support system or building requires it. A sports boundary net is not automatically a fall-protection system.

Check sports-net joints and supports before continued play

Inspect for tears, worn joints, loose anchors and damaged supports as instructed. Stop using an affected area when containment or support is compromised. Confirm material specifications, replacement arrangements and warranty exclusions before accepting the work.

Multi-sport mesh, overhead coverage and enclosure quotations

Can the same net be used for cricket and football?

A multi-use design must account for both balls and their impacts. Confirm mesh, coverage and support requirements for each intended sport.

Is overhead netting always required?

It depends on the trajectory of the ball, the site and what lies beyond the boundary. Assess the actual playing area before deciding.

What should a sports-net quote include?

Request dimensions, net specification, supports, installation access, side and roof coverage, entry arrangements, maintenance and exclusions.

Tell us what will be played and what lies beyond the boundary

Provide the playing dimensions, ball type and photographs of nearby roads, homes and walkways. Say whether the site is on the ground or a terrace and whether supports already exist. We can discuss the netting scope while identifying structural questions that need a qualified assessment.

Coordinate sports netting with the surface and terrace edge

Find a starting point for local sports-net enquiries

Use the location links to discuss a practice lane or larger enclosure. Confirm availability before making site arrangements; listed areas do not imply completed venues or local offices. The sport, surrounding property and support design remain site-specific decisions.

Hyderabad and Bengaluru enquiries are accepted; availability elsewhere needs confirmation.
